I help my clients to explore the roots of their problems, achieve resolutions, free themselves from unwanted thoughts, behaviours and symptoms, and grow towards a more authentic self. Through this process I support clients to take better control over their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, enabling them to flourish.

Hypnotherapy Sessions

When you are ready to make changes in your life, hypnotherapy can support you to do so either online or in person, whichever is most comfortable and supportive for you. Within sessions I will help you to discuss your difficulties at the deepest level to really understand their root causes, release yourself from long held emotions, and explore resolutions. Sessions commence with two assessment sessions in which we explore your history, you as a unique individual, and the things you would like to change. This helps us to develop a shared understanding of your personality, experiences, patterns and elements you want to work on. It also enables me to be responsive to your unique needs throughout therapy, with the work always guided by what you bring to it and feel ready to tackle. 

The Hypnotic State

The hypnotic state assists you to explore things at the deepest level. It is a natural and safe state of intense relaxation, which I support you to achieve with the aim of reducing barriers to accessing your true experiences, thoughts and feelings. The hypnotic state helps you to bring things held in your unconscious mind into consciousness so that I can then support you to explore, understand and heal them to create lasting positive change in your life. You are in control at all times, and fully conscious, able to move and respond as you wish. 

 My Approach

I practice Analytical Hypnotherapy, a psychotherapeutic and stress-trauma resolution approach. Based upon psychodynamic and humanistic methodology, it focuses on dealing with the underlying roots of your distress through providing a deeply investigative therapeutic environment. This means that I don’t solely treat superficial symptoms through helping you develop coping mechanisms for day-to-day life, we focus together on tackling longstanding psychological difficulties through resolving them at their root. Alongside this, my training and practice of a variety of psychological approaches over the years means that I offer an integrative approach, responsive to your unique needs and what works for you.
