Availability
My standard working hours are (GMT/BST):
Monday: 8:00am to 7:30pm
Tuesday: 8:00am to 6:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am to 7:30pm
Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
I sometimes work outside of these hours by prior arrangement.
Within my standard working hours, I aim to respond to correspondence and queries within
24 hours, and frequently sooner.Outside of my standard working hours, I usually respond within 72 hours, unless I am taking a break/holiday from work.
I always aim where possible to let existing clients know of any planned breaks or holidays
several weeks in advance.Sometimes existing clients wish to send me correspondence and information in between their sessions that do not require a response before their next session but which I ensure I review beforehand and then discuss with them within their session.
Clients are welcome to enquire about my availability for ad hoc sessions during times of heightened difficulty, and I strive to respond to their needs where possible. However, therapy is not a crisis service, and I cannot guarantee availability outside of regular sessions. In such situations, I encourage clients to seek additional support through appropriate crisis services.
